Sharing a fitness tip or a great new taste is always so satisfying - and here at RYVITA® HQ we spend most of our time thinking about how we can make RYVITA® just one part of a healthy, happy lifestyle. So then we figured: why not share our tips with you? This month, brand relationship manager Hannah, 27, on New Zealand, Daniel Craig, her dog Charlie, and how she can't stay motivated by looking at a wall...
Tell us about your typical exercise routine
The only parts of my routine that are strict are walking my dog Charlie twice a day, and horse riding once a week - because I'm an absolute enthusiast and don't even see this as exercise! I play squash, go mountain biking and run but they are all when the mood takes.
How do you keep it fun?
Variation! If I only ran all the time I would be bored within the week. Plus I also tend to vary according to season. For example, once the weather improves I'll start to play tennis again and maybe not as much squash. I also try and change the routes I take when walking, running and biking. I don't enjoy the gym, though - I can't stay motivated when looking at a wall!
How do you stay motivated?
It depends on the exercise. Racket sports are always fun because you have someone to compete against but with exercises such as running or swimming I tend to try and beat my records. It's also motivating to set dates with friends to exercise together. In work we often plan to go for a brisk walk together after lunch, which is great as we get to have a nice catch-up at the same time.
Where's your dream place to exercise?
For horse riding, across the endless plains of the Deep South in America. For running, along the rugged interior of the south Island of New Zealand.
And who's your dream exercise partner?
That's easy - it would have to be Daniel Craig! Not sure how much exercise I would get done though...
